Complete History Of The Soviet Union In the tune of Tetris

Any gamer knows Tetris, and most gamers know Tetris is from a game programmer who hailed from Soviet Russia. What even less gamers may know is that the theme music of Tetris was based off of old Russian tunes.

What a lot of gamers may not know, is the sad history and experiences that came from the former U.S.S.R. (But let’s remember the good things to come from Russia as well)

Aside from many random pop-culture characters ranging from Zangief to comedian Yakov Smirnoff (“in Soviet Russia, internet Wikis you!“), the Soviet Union was a rather unfunny place to live.

This video aims to educate you whilst entertaining you with the wonderful melodic theme of Tetris. Enjoy and learn!
