Ben Affleck has shocked the world by accepting the role of Batman. Despite all of the backlash that he has received for doing this role, he said that he is a big boy and he can take it. Either way, some of the comments were still hard to swallow.

The Summer of 2015 will prove to be a huge year for Hollywood as a number of blockbusters are set to be release. This includes the fourth installment of the Jurassic Park saga and the squeal to The Avengers.

Rumor has it that Jack Nicholson is retiring from acting. The unnamed source says that his departure is due to memory problems.

Christian Bale is out and Ben Affleck is in as the new Batman. Despite the fact that Ben has played a superhero before, Batman fans do not seem to be very excited about Warner Bros. choice as the new face of Batman.

s there not a more interesting story to tell using these kinds of characters that isn’t just 100% shock-and-awe tactics. How long is it going to be before kids shrug their shoulders at one of these films and the audience pulling power of a $200m blockbuster starts to wane?

With almost every comic book franchise ever created finding its way to the big screen in some incarnation, Nolan’s Batman universe played with conventions and created a fable that was as much about fear, mortality and the duality of man than it was about fighting crime dressed as a bat. And then, in Heath Ledger’s Joker from 2008’s The Dark Knight, you truly had a villain for the ages.

Now that Downey Jr.’s contract is up after Iron Man 3 hit theatres, Marvel will want to keep the gravy train rolling along as much as possible.

In the James Gunn directed film scheduled to launch sometime in 2014, Joseph Gordon-Levitt has joined the short list to take on the role of Quill, the Guardians leader.
