The client relationship: How freelancers get screwed out of money
Designers and developers alike know how much of a hassle it is to have wishy-washy clients, confused bosses, or uninformed managers with weird aesthetic or user-experience vendettas (“let’s make an exciting Flash animation intro!”).
While the reaction to design or function changes may vary, most people will agree that at the end of the day, a freelancer has to let the client do what they want.
It may not always turn out the best, but at least you know that once you get paid it will all be over.
Well, except in the cases where people try to nickel and dime you out of hard-earned money.
