This March, the much-loved actors Simon Pegg and Nick Frost reunite for the movie Paul, a comedy adventure that follows to UFO hunters on a quest to find aliens. To their greatest hopes and dreams, they actually meet an alien (played by Seth Rogen).

Intel will pay NVIDIA $1.5 Billion in licensing fees over six years

NVIDIA has officially announced it's new six-year cross-branding agreement with Intel beginning January 18, 2011. This agreement will have Intel payout a total of $1.5 billion (in five easy installments) in exchange for NVIDIA technology licensing fees. NVIDIA and Intel have also agreed to graciously drop all outstanding legal disputes between them, giving Intel full access to all of NVIDIA's large range of patents and technical intellectual property. In return, NVIDIA will receive an aggregate of $1.5 billion in licensing fees and retain use of Intel's patents.

Mathieu Weschler, a French filmmaker who spent two years working (or playing) with Grand Theft Auto IV, has completed the world's first minute feature-length machinima movie using the Euphoria Engine, and the universe of Grand Theft Auto IV. It clocks in at almost an hour and a half!

Android phone ownership now larger then iPhone

According to the statistics ending November 2010, Google Android users now make up 26% of the mobile phone market, second to RIM's (owners of Blackeberry) leading 33.5% market share. Compared to the numbers from August 2010, it seems as though the Android user surge hurt the Blackberry and Microsoft mobile markets the most, with Microsoft losing 1.8% and Blackberry losing a whopping 4.1%!

Samsung shows off their full HD 3D arena composed of 50 HDTVs!

At Samsung's booth at CES in Las Vegas, attendees were greeted with giant wall of HD televisions, each connected together to form a larger image. All counted, there was an array of 50 high definition displays! They had them arranged to produce a massive high-def demonstration of chained 3D video, using a computer to render the video and wireless 3D glasses (using RF transmissions!) to engulf the audience in a huge 3D plane. Panasonic Jungle: New handheld to compete against PSP and DS

Panasonic has announced its portable platform: the Jungle, signaling the return of Panasonic to the gaming market since the much loved and much despised 3DO. Looking like a cross between a Nintendo DS and a netbook, the Jungle will have a full QWERTY keyboard and twin touch pads for control with. Not willing to take on the DS or PSP battle just yet, Panasonic is promoting the Jungle as a machine for MMO players with their first title being a Battlestar Galactica MMO.
