Google has announced that Google Translate, their popular app that makes language barriers almost nonexistent, has received an update to the Android version which makes a pretty hefty step into the future of communication.
Gone are the days of fiddling through translation books looking for the right thing to say or awkwardly uttering words of phrases that you barely understand. Google made it easy in their first version of Translate for the Android by allowing you to convert text on the fly and even speak into the phone and have it translated.

Rift, the new MMORPG on the block, that is not only interesting, good looking, and press friendly, also happens to be quite fun. While it is hard to say whether the success of the new game from Trion Worlds (makers of RTS End of Nations) will be substantial enough to gain foothold in the online massively multiplayer battle for the top, it is certainly a contender.

StarCraft II patch 1.2 live, adds chat and fixes
GamingToday, the developers over at Blizzard announce and released patch 1.2 for StarCraft II, marking several improvements, feature add-ons, and exploit fixes.
Among the additions, Blizzard has added Battle.net chat channels, allowing all players on Battlenet to join chat in public and private channels! StarCraft II players can also now send whispers using the "/w" to instantly talk to friends, party members, chat channels, or other players in their current game.
